Starting point: Bolzano, Italy
Friday, 11 September – Arrival in Bolzano
Arrive independently in the charming alpine town of Bolzano, the gateway to the Dolomites. Register and meet your fellow adventurers at Café Gruber, where a lively Welcome Party sets the tone for the days ahead.
Accommodation at Hotel Post Gries, your comfortable base for the first night.
Saturday, 12 September – Into the Mountains
The journey begins with a transfer to Unterstell Cable Car, leading you to the start of your first hiking leg — 5.1 km through scenic mountain paths, about 2 hours of walking, with 200 m ascent and 300 m descent.
Spend the night at the charming Untervernatsch Hof in Katharinaberg, where the mountain air feels as pure as the local hospitality.
Sunday, 13 September – The Long Valley Trail
Continue your adventure with the second leg — a 12.2 km hike taking roughly 4 hours and 40 minutes, through forests and meadows framed by towering peaks.
Climb 850 m up and descend 135 m as you reach the welcoming Eishof, a traditional alpine lodge nestled deep in the Schnals Valley.
Monday, 14 September – The Heart of the Alps
Your third day brings 6.9 km of scenic ascent — about 3 hours of steady climbing with 840 m elevation gain.
Spend the night at Stettiner Hütte, perched high above the valleys, offering stunning views and a true taste of life in the high Alps.
Tuesday, 15 September – Peaks and Pride
The fourth hiking leg offers another 6.9 km route — approximately 3 hours of hiking with 840 m ascent and 20 m descent.
For the bold-hearted, an optional summit climb of Hohe Wilde (3,482 m) awaits, promising spectacular panoramic views.
Celebrate your accomplishment with a well-deserved stay at Hotel Pfeldererhof in the alpine village of Pfelders.
Wednesday, 16 September – Farewell to the Peaks
Enjoy a comfortable transfer to Piacenza by bus, carrying with you memories of shared trails, mountain sunsets, and the thrill of the Alpine Adventure.
